Carnival Special

If you enjoy Carnival & masks, here’s a list of things to do in Venice during Carnival time (23rd January – 9th February):

Masquerade Balls (they are quite expensive, you need to follow a dress code according to the party’s theme), depending on your preferences, more info here.

Bosch, Gallerie della Accademia, running until February 16th.

Alchemia del Colore, Palazzo Mocenigo, running until April 10th.

Henriette Fortuny, Palazzo Fortuny.

Il bianco di Canova, Museo Correr.

In order to commemorate 400 years since William Shakespeare’s death (1616) Ca’ Rezzonico is hosting “Women in Love”, an itinerant show dedicated to four famous Shakespeare’s female characters: Lady Macbeth, Desdemona, Ophelia, Donna Capuleti.
